We might eat up to 20 red and green Thai chilis in a som tum dish or 2-3 jalapeño peppers in one sitting. This can meet 120% of the daily value for vitamin C, which helps support immune function. This is particularly beneficial for those with diabetes, who may have a weakened immune system.
